Confidence and Customer Satisfaction

Regarding Disaster and Emergency Management and Business Continuity Program (DEMBCP) certification, instilling confidence and assuring customer satisfaction is critical. It saves lives, protects physical assets and provides economic stability. With this being our primary goal, NEMR recognizes that success is achieved through a variety of factors. Some of these factors include:

  • NEMR's sole commitment to "All Hazards" DEMBCP certification initiatives, which enables our market attention to focus strictly upon this specific area of concern without distractions.

  • NEMR's insistence on following rigorous protocols and procedures aligned with accepted "Industry Codes of "Best Practices" in order to effectively carry out legitimate DEMBCP certification.

  • Serving as a valuable resource, which includes NEMR's Technical Director holding an invited position on the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board's (ANAB) "Committee of Experts" to assist with developing an appropriate accreditation scheme for certification bodies that carry out assessment and certification of DEMBCP.

  • NEMR's overall commitment to accountability and oversight ensuring operational transparency and the ability to afford our clients added value and significant return on investment.

NEMR's Operational Structure

NEMR's internal operations are currently structured in conformance with required guidelines set forth by the internationally recognized standard ISO/IEC 17021. Approved by both the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB), ISO/IEC 17021 is the most current set of guidance documents defining the proper operational structure for a certification body issuing certifications for management systems.

Additionally and as directed, NEMR is scheduled to modify operational processes to also ensure compliance with all applicable procedures and requirements for 3rd party certification bodies established in Public Law 110-53. NEMR's strict approach and operational framework puts in place the crucial mechanisms necessary for maintaining impartiality, valid program assessment, accreditation and regulatory compliance.
