National Emergency Management Registrars (NEMR) is a certification body solely dedicated to the safety, security and protection of our nation's critical infrastructure. Focusing our commitment on the planning efforts of businesses and organizations in the private sector, NEMR provides effective "All Hazards" program validation for Preparedness, Disaster and Emergency Management, Business Continuity and Resiliency. More about NEMR…

The first of its kind, NEMR was founded to assess and certify that existing Disaster/Emergency Management and Business Continuity Programs (DEMBCP) of private sector businesses and organizations are in compliance with national recommendations and legislation.

These national recommendations currently endorse conformance to the American National Standards Institute's/ National Fire Protection Association Standard on Disaster/Emergency Management and Business Continuity Programs (ANSI/NFPA 1600). In accordance with determinations established in Public Law 110-53, NEMR certifications will also include any additional and applicable supplementary guidance documents, "Sector Specific" provisions, "Industry Codes of Best Practices" or use of subsequent "Voluntary Consensus" standards.
